What we do
Because Jesus said, "make disciples of all nations," our vision is discipleship.
The Church Works ministries (NEXT, Summer Service, and American Gospel Initiative) are programs that God has raised up to disciple and equip believers to know the Gospel, follow their calling and serve all nations.
If you would like to know more about our programs or would like our help in developing a program of your own, please contact us.
We believe in one triune God, and apart from Him there is no God. He is the creator of all that is, existing in the Godhead, in perfection, before and independent of His creation. He is entire goodness, benevolent, all wise, and infinite in His attributes.
We believe Jesus Christ, in His virgin birth, in His sinless life, in His miracles, in His vicarious and atoning death through His shed blood, in His bodily resurrection, in His ascension to the right hand of the Father, and in His personal return in power and glory.
We believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit by Whose indwelling power the believer is enabled to live a life to the fullness of their calling in this present world.
We believe in the totally trustworthy Word of God to man as it is written. It is complete in what God intended to say as He inspired men to write it. We preach and teach God's Word with complete confidence in its historical and spiritual reliability.
We believe the Church is the body of Christ and the instrument to deliver His good news to humankind. It includes all people who have accepted the Gospel by faith and have made the life-changing transformation in Christ, which allow them to live within the discipline, and ministry revealed in the New Testament . Baptism in water signifies our personal identification with Christ and His Church.
THE PREEMINIENCE OF EVANGELISM
We believe that the ultimate purpose of life is to know and glorify God and to attain eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord. Beginning within our own families and then reaching out to a suffering humanity we help to share the good news of Christ's love, sacrifice, and position of glory.
"He said to them, 'Go into all the world and preach the good news to all creation.'" Mark 16:15
